At 18:03 on Thursday, 18 September, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Embankment in Shifnal.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford and Tweedale.

Embankment fire on the west carriageway of the M54 in-between junctions 3-4. Fire caused by burning rubbish discarded from car, approx 5SQM fire damage.
