At 12:14 on Sunday, 28 September, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

5 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 female casualty assisted from river by Fire Service Personnel.
