At 02:17 on Sunday, 27 November, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Cound,Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 female rescued from stream by swift water rescue technicians using short extension ladder , casualty has been conveyed to hospital.
