At 17:34 on Thursday, 6 April, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Ludlow.

5 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Craven Arms, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Incident involving male who has fallen down some stairs by the river bank. Crews assisted him to the ambulance.
