At 08:52 on Wednesday, 14 March, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Air bags
• Winches

One saloon vehicle left the road and stuck on slope, driver and child trapped due to position of vehicle. Crews used airbags, Tirfor winch, chocks, blocks and v-struts to stabilise the vehicle and release the occupants, then made the vehicle safe
