At 02:53 on Sunday, 10 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury .

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews have been assisting Police in a search of the river. This was a false alarm
