At 16:23 on Monday, 25 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Much Wenlock .

3 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

2 casualty's assisted from steep quarry banks to awaiting ambulance crews.
