At 01:34 on Thursday, 28 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Queen Street, Shrewsbury.

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Tweedale.

Call received to a person in difficulties in the river. Person self extricated prior to arrival of fire crews.
