At 16:29 on Friday, 5 June, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Tong.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident was a false alarm due to overheating brakes, which were cooled using 1 hosereel jet.
