At 16:25 on Wednesday, 20 January, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Gobowen, Oswestry .

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Oswestry.

Reports of two vehicles in shallow flood water with occupants unable to self-extricate. Five casualties assisted from five vehicles and being assessed by ambulance crews.
