At 01:27 on Friday, 23 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury .

4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 female in river, self rescued prior to fire service arrival.
