At 14:38 on Tuesday, 5 October, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury .

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder

1 Female recused from river by swift water rescue technicians and short extension ladder.
