At 14:56 on Monday, 8 November, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Telford.

4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Assisted in search for person in river, nothing found
