2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Oxygen first aid

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire in ground floor flat involving chip pan. One casualty suffering smoke inhalation.
