• Winches

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

2 vehicles involved. 2 casualties released from vehicle using small gear and tirfor winch.

1 person reported to have entered the river at the rear of the Sixth form college. Full search of river made by Fire Service using boat. No persons found and following liaison with Police and Ambulance staff search discontinued

Electrical fire involving consumer unit on ground floor stairway. 1 elderly female suffered slight smoke inhalation.
