1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One motorcycle involved in collision. Small oil leak dealt with using environmental grab pack. Casualty in the care of West Midlands Ambulance service.

Property Fire

Quarry Road Broseley

Station ground: Much Wenlock

At 22:23 on Monday, 28 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Broseley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Small gear
  • Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Report of extractor fan smoking. Small fire in bathroom extractor fan which was out on arrival of crews. Crews carried out thorough inspection of property including loft space using a dewalt saw, small gear and thermal imaging camera.

Fire Service Personnel released one person from vehicle and they are now in the care of the Ambulance service.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance and the Land Ambulance Service .

One car left carriageway and came to rest on its side approximately 8ft through hedge. Fire service personnel assisted egress of occupiers of vehicle. All casualties in care of ambulance and fire service have made vehicle safe.

Property Fire Persons Reported

Vicarage Grove Telford

At 19:25 on Tuesday, 22 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire within residential property contained to rear of property. Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet, one covering jet and two thermal imaging cameras whilst wearing breathing apparatus. One casualty was rescued from the property and put in care of ambulance crews.

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire in wooden lean to outbuilding which was extinguished by crews using one hosereel jet whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Casualties treated and left in care of ambulance crews.

Two vehicles involved in road traffic collision with one vehicle coming to rest on its side. One casualty extricated from vehicle by fire service personnel. All casualties in care of ambulance service.
