At 19:09 on Saturday, 21 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involved 2 vehciles, one which came to rest on it's roof. All passengers self extricated prior to arrival of crews. Crews made vehicles electrically safe.

Fire involving door way of shop. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 1 hosereel jet and 1 covering jet to extinguish fire. All persons accounted for.
