At 21:05 on Friday, 12 June, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Telford Central. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Hosereel jet
  • Rams

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire in bathroom of property. 1 Female rescued by fire service.

RTC involving 2 vehicles, 1 person trapped having been released by Fire Service Personnel who also then made the vehicle electrically safe.

At 15:34 on Wednesday, 10 June, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Non Urgent in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Crews were called to assist ambulance to rescue a lady who had fallen on the hillside and was unable to walk. The lady was rescue by Fire Service Personnel using a stretcher and taken safely down the hill side to awaiting ambulance personnel.

One male casualty with left arm trapped in metalwork of a gambling machine. Crews released casualty using holmatro cutting equipment. Ambulance crews also in attendance.
