2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

House fire- fire involving ground floor living room, crews were assisted by neighboring brigade North Wales. Fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and a thermal imaging camera

Property Fire

At 13:17 on Saturday, 6 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Ludlow and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Crews were assisted by our neighboring brigade Hereford and Worcester with a building fire- this incident involved a chimney fire which had spread to the roof ridge and adjoining unit used for storage of timber and wood, crews used 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering yet, 1 thermal imaging camera and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. The aerial ladder platform from Telford was also in use to remove tiles from the affected roof area.

6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Prees, Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Wellington and Wem. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and a utility company.

Fire involving first floor and roof space of a disused public house, all persons have been accounted for.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Prees. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Brick and block building approximately 10m x 10m fully involved in fire. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets. Crews continued to dampen down.
