At 12:18 on Saturday, 16 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Incident involved fire within bathroom of a flat to the rear of the building. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets, 4 breathing apparatus and used 2 thermal image cameras. No persons were injured. Fire Investigation being undertaken.
