At 13:49 on Sunday, 3 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Electrical item which had been plugged in caught fire in the cellar. Crews used jets to extinguish fire and a hydraulic ventilation on scene to ventilate property

One saloon vehicle fully involved in fire caused by mechanical fault.
