At 11:26 on Friday, 5 May, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Telford.

7 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Much Wenlock, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Fire involving a large pile of tyres and adjacent residential property. The house had fire damage to windows, window frames and smoke damage to the interior.

4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow and Tweedale. Operations, Hazmat and Specialist Advisor officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

1 Tractor and Trailer alight carrying fertilizer. Crews successfully worked to remove a potential explosive risk and to protect the environment.
