Community Involvement Opportunity – tell us what’s important to you!
Integrated Risk Management Plan (IRMP) Involvement Session
Many of you will not know what IRMP means and how it affects you, this is the planning process for how Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service makes decisions on its priorities in the future.
We want minority community groups to get involved with this process and tell us what’s important to you.
We have 2 sessions taking place on:
5 December 2019, 1400 hrs at Telford College of Arts and Technology, TF1 2NP
9 December 2019, 1000hrs at our Headquarters in Shrewsbury, SY1 2HJ
The aims of the sessions are to give a brief overview of the IRMP process
- To gather your thoughts on the risks in your local area
- To make sure your views inform the IRMP process from the outset
These will be achieved through a short PowerPoint presentation, and an interactive exercise based on a PESTLE analysis. The latter will cover the following points:
P – Is for Political; E – Is for Economic; S – Is for Social; T – Is for Technological; L – Is for Legal E – Is for Environment;
Further guidance will be offered on the day, but it will be beneficial to consider your potential responses in advance to ensure the most thorough information can be gathered from each session.
We hope you can come along and get involved.
