At 14:57 on Wednesday, 5 December, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm good intent. Alarm caused by passer by mistaking a glow from festive lights and smoke from chimney for a property fire.

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Small fire in kitchen. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish.

• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) and the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire involving computer in living room. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet. Positive pressure ventilation used to clear smoke logging.
