At 17:36 on Thursday, 10 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

One car completely destroyed by fire and adjacent trees also affected. Crews used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire. Road closed by Shropshire Highways and Police in attendance.
