Incident involved one female and dog rescued from water. Female left in the care of ambulance

5 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
One 26yr old male rescued from water by water first responders, using 9m ladder. Casualty transported to hospital via land Ambulance.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance and the Land Ambulance Service .
3 adults from a capsized canoe, safely out of the water prior to Fire Service arrival.

At 11:06 on Thursday, 6 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Bridge Street, Bridgnorth .
6 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Tweedale.
Call to 4 persons in the river. All 4 persons were rescued by fire service specialist Water First Responders. First aid rendered to all 4 casualties whilst awaiting arrival of Ambulance service. Kayak also retrieved from river by crew using throwing lines.

Reports of persons and raft in water. Fire crews launched the rescue boat, and assisted one person to dry land. All persons accounted for.
