At 17:05 on Thursday, 1 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in field between Osbaston and Maesbrook , Oswestry .
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury.
Fire involving 100 metres of field and hedgerow. 2 hose reel jets and fogging system off incident support unit in use. Fire also involving deep seated oak tree fire. Battery operated saw, short extension ladder and shovels in use.
