Reports of a lorry's brakes on fire - incident involved over heating brakes crews used a hose reel jet to cool them

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere, Oswestry and Shrewsbury. Operations and Principal officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Rakes, shovels, mathooks
- Thermal imaging camera
1 large baler 100% involved in fire, crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 4 drag rakes and 1 thermal imaging camera
