At 13:15 on Monday, 7 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Telford .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 recycling lorry on fire, extinguished before crews attended, lorry was emptied at the local recycling centre where crews carried out a full investigation using a thermal imaging camera, no heat source was located

Fire involving Light Goods Vehicle, fuel pump and service station canope also affected. 4 breathing aparatus, 4 Hosereel jets and 1 main foam jet in use to extinguish.
