At 19:49 on Saturday, 7 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Whitchurch.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Two vehicles involved in RTC with one person mechanically trapped. Crews used small gear to release casualty from the vehicle. Crews have isolated both vehicles which require recovery from A49. Incident left with Police for traffic management and road closures.

At 15:43 on Thursday, 5 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Craven Arms.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Ludlow.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .
Two vehicles involved in RTC. Crews administered first aid to casualties until ambulance crews arrived. Crews made scene safe and made both vehicles electrically safe. Ambulance crews have taken casualties to hospitals. A49 congested in both directions.

RTC involving 2 vehicles in a head on collision. Police dealing with traffic management and fire crews have made vehicles electrically safe. Casualties in care of ambulance crews and being transported to hospital.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
RTC involving one vehicle which rolled over and came to rest on all four wheels. No persons were trapped at this incident and on request of Police, Fire Crews did not make the vehicle electrically safe. This incident was left with the Police.

RTC involving 2 vehicles in a head on collision. Crews used holmatro gear to create space and remove the roof of the vehicle for the extrication of a casualty who was medically trapped.
