At 18:06 on Monday, 11 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place.
5 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance and the Land Ambulance Service .
This incident was a road traffic collision which involved one vehicle which came to rest on it's side. Crews used small gear and the holmatro equipment to extricate one casualty from the vehicle. The casualty has now been left in the care of ambulance crews.

One vehicle collided with tree. One casualty released from vehicle using holmatro cutting equipment. Both casualties in care of paramedics.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Reports of a vehicle overturned on embankment with persons trapped. On arrival of crews, this was discovered to be a false alarm with no persons trapped, alarm caused by previous road traffic collision which police were already aware of. No action required by fire crews.
