2012 is the 50th Anniversary of the launch of the MGB, and this year's Shropshire Festival of Transport will have a celebration of the MGB at its core. Last year's show attracted over 3000 visitors, and featured displays from 8 of the regions major vehicle dealers as well as over 300 classic and interesting vehicles, and these numbers are expected to be surpassed as our plans come together for another exciting family day out.
2012's show will build on the foundations of last year. Already confirmed is an aerobatic display as the main event, plus there will be helicopter displays and rides, a brass band and the "Village green" -an area dedicated to craft stalls and items to interest the whole family as well as car lovers.
Organisers Ken Williams and Ray Searles are in the process of planning the event to take place on Sunday 5th August. If you have an interesting vehicle, or you wish to book a trade or craft stand then please get in touch.
