At 14:10 on Saturday, 24 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Minsterley, Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm raised with good intent.
