At 01:14 on Tuesday, 2 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Request from Ambulance to assist with possible water rescue. Person located and in the care of Police and Ambulance.
