At 07:29 on Monday, 30 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Condover.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Sole occupant of 1 privately owned vehicle, rescued by Fire Service personnel from the vehicle in ford floodwater.
