Location:

On the 25th September Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service will be delivering a road safety education programme to over 500 students who attend Thomas Telford School, Telford. All students attending the programme fall into our most at risk group consisting of 16 to 25 year olds.

The day will consist of a session incorporating a practical demonstration and an opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day work the emergency services carry out in the community.

The aim of the session is to raise awareness of the consequences of drink and drug driving, speeding, seatbelts, passenger safety and pier pressures to a wide range of motorists including learner and newly passed drivers as well as those who are more experienced.
