2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 cars, 1 person trapped. 1 casualty released from vehicle prior to Fire Service arrival. Holmatro cutting equipment in use.

RTC involving 1 car which has gone into the gable end of an end terraced property. 1 casualty released using airbags and small tools. No damage to property.

Crews were called to rescue a horse that had become trapped over a gate but was released by owners prior to arrival. No action by Fire Service Personnel
