At 07:08 on Tuesday, 5 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Nesscliffe.

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wellington.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and a vet.

Crews are dealing with an RTC involving a HGV that has overturned. The driver of the vehicle had self released prior to arrival of the Emergency Services but the vehicle was carrying cattle who are still contained in the trailer. Fire Service Personnel, including the specialist Animal Rescue Team from Wellington released all cattle and they were assessed by vets.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Triple/Short extension ladder

Reports of an automatic fire alarm sounding in a residential property. Alarm caused by water pipe becoming detached from tank in roof space resulting in water leaking into electrics and smoke detector.
