At 16:21 on Thursday, 10 January, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Oswestry and Shrewsbury. Operations, Hazmat and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 static caravan and shed fully destroyed in fire. Two hose reel jets in use and 9 cylinders involved.
