Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Chimney rods
• Roof ladder
• Small gear

Fire in chimney of two storey property, hose reel jet, chimney rods, stirrup pump and small gear in use, 9m ladder, roof ladder and safe working at height equipment also in use. Crews will re-inspect the property later.

At 15:19 on Saturday, 27 February, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Craven Arms .

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Main jet

Barn Fire 250 tonnes of straw and hay well alight, crews are using four 45mm jets and 2 breathing apparatus damping down and will be delayed some considerable time
