At 01:01 on Monday, 10 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Craven Arms.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Barn containing approx 30 tons of baled straw 2 Hose Reel Jets and 1 Main Jet

At 10:35 on Monday, 27 July, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Craven Arms.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Craven Arms and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

One horse has been rescued from ditch by specialist Fire Service animal rescue team and supporting crew. Specialist equipment from Rescue Tender used and a vet was in attendance throughout.

At 16:35 on Saturday, 11 July, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Craven Arms.

6 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Barn containing 100 tonnes of straw and hay, 25 tonnes affected by fire. Hay has been moved to adjacent field with farm machinery.
