At 18:26 on Friday, 29 September, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Minsterley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire confined to the the battery compartment of a private hatchback vehicle on driveway. Fire was found to be out upon the arrival of the Fire Service, small gear and thermal imaging camera in use.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Environment agency equipment
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving 1 saloon car and 1 motorbike. Crews dealt with fuel spillage using environmental grab pack.

RTC involving one light goods vehicle which left the road and came to rest in a field. No persons trapped, crews made the scene safe.
