At 16:27 on Friday, 21 December, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Small gear

Fire involving unattended cooking under grill in a domestic residential property. Crew gained entry to the property using small tools and extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet and wearing breathing apparatus.
