5 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Reports of a lady on the bridge threatening to jump.1 casualty was left in the care of ambulance and police no fire service action was required. Casualty did not enter the water.
