At 19:05 on Thursday, 30 July, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

5 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Prees and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

One female casualty rescued from brook. The woman in her 30's had fallen in the brook and was unable to get out as she was stuck knee deep in mud. Swift Water Rescue Technician's (SWRT's) from the Fire Service rescued her using a ladder. The casualty was transferred to hospital as a precaution.

5 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Training and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

RTC involving 1 vehicle. No persons trapped, 1 casualty released prior to arrival of Fire Service. No Fire Service equipment in use, making safe only
