At 13:04 on Tuesday, 19 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of tractor on fire. Crews extinguished using 1 hosereel jet and thermal imaging camera used to check for hotspots.

This incident involved an area of grass measuring approximately 5m x 2m which was extinguished by Fire Service personnel using a misting lance from the incident support unit.
