At 11:17 on Wednesday, 13 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Small in Shrewsbury .
1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.
Attending crews used the following equipment:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency and the Highways Agency.
30 gallons of oil on the road. Grab packs used and drain covers in place. The road cordoned off and an environmental risk assessment has taken place.

4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Tweedale. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
This incident involved a substance which has leaked onto the yard. Crews made the area safe and safely contained the substance.

RTC involving one HGV which has left the carriageway and come to rest on the middle of the roundabout. Diesel Tank has split.
