At 10:01 on Friday, 21 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Wellington. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire involving first floor of two storey semi detached property.

• Small gear

This incident involved a fire at the base of a hollow tree. Crews used one hose reel jet, small tools and a misting lance to extinguish the fire.

Small fire containing rubbish which was out on arrival of crews. No equipment in use. One casualty assessed by ambulance crews.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Portable pump

Assisted by Mid & West Wales Fire Service. Crews extinguished fire using light portable pump and 1 hose reel jet. Farm machinery was also used to drag rake fire.

• Short extension ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One vehicle in collision with pole and located down steep bank. Casualty self-extricated and crews used short extension ladder to assist driver from bank.
