At 15:36 on Saturday, 3 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shifnal.
3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
This incident involved an individual that required rescuing from a reservoir after following their dog into the water.
