Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 vehicles. 1 casualty assisted from vehicle. Both vehicles made safe by Fire & Rescue Service personnel.

4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews were called to reports of an 18 year old female who was believed to have gone in the river and had not been seen for some time. This incident turned out to be a false alarm caused by concerned friends. The girl was found safe and well nearby
